Real Esate Market Looking Good to Sub-Adults!

This morning's dawn song singers were a little further up the creek than typical, and they brought back visitors!!! I suspected sub-adults were coming during the daytime playtime but this was a serious real estate examination! My south siders could not shoo off that many (9-11) so were well behaved when this group took turns checking out their occupied compartment, just politely peeking in the hole. Then the whole gang, including the nesting pair, went to check out the unoccupied east system. Now it seems like they are confirming how many perches there are, fly patterns, scooping up creek water, and going back-and-forth between the two systems!!! Where's the real estate agent? First time experience! Very fascinating.

It seems it wasn't both the male and female courting the subadults around. The nesting pair just exchanged spots; she was inside the whole time...guess I need to learn sub-adults from females better.

There has been a lot of visitor and group flyby activity at my place as well.
