I personally manage 9 colonies in central MN (outside of our public colonies for the working group), here are their overall stats:
156 nests had 815 eggs
682 eggs hatched
632 fledged
hatch rate 84%
fledge rate of hatched young 93%
fledge rate of total eggs laid 78%
Once again, the Assisted Living Unit 24-unit gourd rack with WDC-excluder gourds had the best stats. 100% occupancy, 5.7 eggs per gourd, hatch rate 92%, fledge rate of hatches 100%, fledge rate of total eggs laid 92%. Total fledged 125. I credit this to good housing, routine management, a never-ending food supply off the lake, and the fact that most of these pairs are ASY and experienced parents.

Kelly, you all are doing some good work up there in Minnesota! Congratulations and I hope the weather cooperates over the coming years so the number of martins increases greatly.

Kelly, those numbers are phenomenal!
You, and the other members of your group in MN, are doing wonderful work. Echoing Dick's comments, I wish you only the best of luck and good weather in the future.
You should be very proud of those numbers. Congratulations.
