I had PM's in previous years but like I said with the growth of landscape I gradually lost them. I have be having a lot of visitors hopefully I can get them back.

Should I keep the plugs in or out? I haven't seen any Martins yet.

I had one pair that showed up mid march. They have been working building nest and I haven't seen them in two days. What do you guys think happened?

Steve what a beautiful site. How long does it take you to do a nest check when you take them? That is some work , but a beautiful site.

It's rare, but possible the male has two females. It's far more likely the female is building in several adjacent rooms, as she has the whole house to herself. She'll eventually focus on one. I have one Pair that I see in the same house everyday but a male and two females flying around but I have never seen them roost in my houses. The one house in question I did a nest check and 4 rooms out of 6 were nest being built by PM?

Nest check this morning revealed 3 nests with eggs - 1, 3 and 4. Momma Martin with 4 eggs did not leave during the initial nest check. First time that happened. Good luck all and Happy Easter!!
