Tim, that was my error on the number of pairs, I am guessing that I had a total of 150 or more birds, I had so many that is was difficult to determine the number of pairs. For 25yrs I have had a very large colony of Martins every year but this year I have none, is something wrong environmentally perhaps with the weather that has changed or did something scare them off?
