I couldn’t find hawk or owl guards for my S&K houses. So we made some with 2x4 hog wire and tie wraps. I’ll send you pics if I can figure out how to send them on this site. We put them on last year and this year. Martins and fledglings figured them out very easily

If it’s the S&K tripole that is triangular shaped than yes the one from PMCA is a good one. I do recommend adding lock washers to the screws on the disk. The first year was fine. But year 2 the winds cause the nuts to vibrate and fall off. Lock washers that I purchased at Ace solved this problem...

I purchased a very sturdy tripole bracket on Etcy they were around $18 a piece. They do not come with poles. This bracket is solid not hollow like S&K. If you Google (purple Martin gourd bracket) it will come up.

First year with Troyer horizontal gourds. Plugged in the Bird Magnet and within 2 hours had a male scout sitting on the top perch. Thank goodness my husband was home and took a picture of it.
