Thanks Thomas . No I do not have predator guards on them yet. I have metal flashing on the old houses pole But nothing on the new ones. But I’m working on making two real predator guards right now

Yes, I have seen the Martens use the water to drink, and bathe. They do it fairly often.

Last year our old house was full.This spring I put up the new house (the one with the gourds) and it’s already full too

How many days of nasty weather can martins handle , before they will starve

One like the one in the picture Would it be possible to mount it lower on the pole, but with the top still 4 feet off the ground, If not that’s fine I was just wondering, because I don’t really like the looks of it connected to the house

Ok ,Thanks for telling me. I know someone who does some of that so I can ask them.If they don’t have any we have a scrap yard in town that sells lots of stuff like that.

So here’s the story, in 2022 we had a full T14 of Purple Martins ,then raccoons cleaned out almost all our Martins, which was approximately 60 young😡. Our pool is homemade and doesn’t fit any of the PMCA‘s predator guard, so I was trying to make a homemade version of it

Will metal flashing work as a pool guardBecause we have problems with coons .
We put an 18 inch section on. I was just wondering if it will work.
