Re: Changing from round to excluder entrances
Don't give up. The martin's have seen enough sreh in their travels that they will be ok with them. Every house we put up has the sreh's installed with no issues. Martins move right in........good luck.

Everyone here is having their houses filling up. No subs yet but we have 11 nests with 15 eggs at our site today. So its look...

Some of the locations are adding second houses. I think we could fill every house we put up. The martins have been nes...

April57 its propably best to get yourself a feeder like Bob talked about and load it with crickets for now until they get accustomed to eggs and mealworms. In this weather its not a good idea to keep taking down the house as it flushes them out each time. They need all the warmth they can get. we pu...

At this point we have a ton of nest building going on and have counted 26 ASY's so far with no subbies yet. We put up a second house this spring and its a good thin...

Bernie i think i got the idea from one of your prior posts. great idea. i have seen the plastic plate in the wildbird store so they are availiable commercially now. I put a spot from youtube on the forum on how to make these. There should be no reason now to have round holes for your TRES anymore......
