WHEN TO OPEN UP PM HOUSE
I was reading an article that said to wait 4 to 6 weeks after the first PM arrived to open your PM House. The reason being was that sparrows or starlings would move in if the house remained open. Does anyone know if this is a good idea or should it be opened up right away after the first PM arrives?.

Hi Leslie, I'm sorry to hear that you are in the same shape as I am here in No. VA, near Dulles Airport. I had PM's in three houses last season, but nothing yet. I saw one about mid April but that's all. I'm beginning to think that something happened at their winter home. Thanks for your post. I wil...

WAITING ON FIRST SIGHTING
I live in Northern VA in Aldie and am looking forward to seeing my first PM. I've noticed in the forum that others in No. VA have already reported seeing PM's. Last year, they arrived here on 26 April. I don't understand why they arrive at my house so late. I keep telling myself to be patient, but c...

NO PM'S AT MY HOUSE IN NO. VA EITHER.
I am glad to hear that I'm not the only one without PM's. I was really getting worried.
I live in Northern VA, near Dulles Airport. Normally PM's begin showing up mid March. So far, I have not seen any.
I have two houses and there is another across the road in my neighbors yard. So far no PM's.

MARTINS NOT SETTING UP HOUSEKEEPING
Hey team, the Martins are here but seem hesitant to move in. I have seen a male sitting on the bird house and he goes into some of the rooms and this AM I saw three females but they haven't moved in. Am I too impatient? Also last fall, after they left in Mid August the wind bled the house over and b...
