Purple Martin Forum

Does anybody have pictures of feathers from owls and hawks. I know I have a Great Horned Owl trying to get my martins at night and we do have Red Tailed Hawks in the area. I found a grey feather on the ground and I'm trying to figure out what it belongs to.

Bob, what kind of vent is that on the roof attic and where did you get it?

I have a question. Can purple martins see at night when flying? I have a great horned owl flush out one of my purple martins one night. The PM flew out of the martin house and flew away. So my question is: Can they see enough at night to fly to some trees for safety? P.S.
