The only issue I see with these vented doors is that the vents are too low on the door. Given that most of us use nest sub floors/trays and then add the nesting material on top of that. I also believe the larger the compartment the better and all of my housing has been expanded and the gourds are at a minimum 10 inches with tunnels. But let's not forget the housing of past and how many martins were raised in that housing. Those rooms were 6x6 inches so even though a martin is 7 1/2...
