Had martins last year ,,,,1 pair 6 eggs hatched and fledged.... Had tree swallows nesting in a box about 30 feet from gourd rack and no problems.... Now here's the problem.... This year tree swallows are obsessed with the gourd rack and want their box also. Martins are arriving and are being buzzed ...

I'm looking on how to mount a gourd rack to a pier. Any ideas?

Same thing here. One pair last year that saw... four eggs laid, hatched and fledged. Saw some (ASY's) early in the year but basically nothing since then. My Naturlines have no access doors on the side. Has anybody tried to install the access doors they use on natural gourds? Will it even work?

After 8 years, a lot of trapping, shooting of the nasty birds and the death of a willow tree I can finally say I'm a landlord. Abner and Alice as I have named them, have produced their first egg. Hard work, perseverance, and sound advice from the forum does pay off.

I have the Troyer gourds with the Conley entrances and the martins don't quite seem to get through. Or are they just apprehensive about going through? Should I open the entrances a tad?

I have an adult pm (around about 12 days now) it seems when a sub-adult male comes around the adult he chases him from entrance hole to entrance hole. Is this normal?
