I have seen some Martins flying around yesterday.

I took the Decoys down. We will see what happens.

I took the PM decoys down Thursday the 23rd.
Friday the 24th I saw 4 PM feeding around the my place they were high and never came in to look that I know of.
It's still early for nesting new birds but at least I know they are some around.

Thanks everyone that was some good info.
I will take them off the top of the house and try the porch for a wile and see how that works.
I have my house in a good location. I have not seen any martins around here yet this year. Strange.
I will let you all know how it works.

Hi everyone, I just put up a new PM 8 room Waters Edge house and I have no takers. I got 2 PM Decoys and put them on the roof purch but still no visitors. Do Purple Martin decoys really work? Krista, I live in Watson and I have not seen any around my house. I had a 2 room house with 1 pair last year and the chicks died from getting wet. This year I put up a 8 suite from waters edge so that will not happen again. I am worried about the pair not returning because of the failed nestlings. B...
